First Support Health Care provides a range of assistance and support across GTA, Hamilton and Niagara Region to individuals and/or families just like yours.

Our assistance is customized to care for your loves one’s needs and desires. Through our free assessment consultation with the client and/or the client’s family, our Care Planner nurse, will produce an initial care plan that includes, but not limited a full list of services is available here:

  • Personal Care: Bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming and oral hygiene.
  • Incontinence care performed by a Certified Personal Support Worker
  • Meal Preparation: Planning, cooking, and serving nutritious meals tailored to your loves one's dietary preferences and restrictions.
  • Assistance with Exercises: Encouragement and assistance with physical exercises, mobility exercises, and rehabilitation activities to maintain or improve strength, flexibility, and overall health.
  • Light Housekeeping: such as dusting, vacuuming, laundry, changing of bed linens and dishwashing to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
  • Medication Management: Reminders to take medications on schedule, assistance with medication administration, and monitoring for any adverse reactions.
  • Transportation: Accompaniment to medical appointments, grocery shopping, errands, and social outings
  • Companionship: Social interaction, conversation, and engagement in activities to combat loneliness, isolation, and depression.
  • Mobility Assistance: Help with transferring, walking, and moving around the home to prevent falls and promote independence.
  • Respite Care: Temporary relief for family caregivers by providing care and supervision for their loved ones, allowing caregivers to take breaks or attend to their own needs.
  • Alzheimer's and Dementia Care: Specialized care and support for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments, including memory care, behavioral management, and safety supervision.

To help ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, we perform a criminal history background and reference checks including Vulnerable Sector Screening clearance.

It's clear that your company is committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and excellence in caregiving.

For everyone’s protection, our caregivers are insured as well as covered by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB).

At First Support Health Care, we have a straightforward Client Service Agreement that is required to be completed prior to start our services.
Having a contract in place helps ensure that you and your loves ones understand what you should expect from your caregiver.
This contract can be discontinued at any time whenever it’s necessary. You are never bound to a long-term contract, so you can cancel when you feel so. We only need 12 hours cancellation policy, which means we need notice of only 12 hours or more to cancel you or your loves ones’care.
